Terms of Use

Last updated 14 October 2026. These terms are between you and WhatIsMyError (“we”), operator of whatismyerror.com. By using the site you accept them.

Content is provided as-is

Troubleshooting steps and code examples are general guidance. Always test changes in a non-production environment and keep backups. We are not liable for damage resulting from applying any fix.

AI output

AI analyses are generated automatically and can be incorrect or incomplete. Review them before acting.

Acceptable use

Don't scrape the site at high volume, resell API data without a Developer plan, or submit content that you don't have the right to share (including other people's credentials or personal data).

API

API keys are personal to your account. Daily limits depend on your plan; we may suspend keys used abusively.

Accounts

You are responsible for your password and for activity under your account. Give accurate details and tell us promptly if you suspect misuse. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Paid plans and payments

Paid plans are prepaid for one month or one year, charged in INR through Razorpay, and do not renew automatically. Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy; delivery of digital access is described in the Shipping & Delivery Policy. We may change prices for future purchases; a plan you have already paid for is not affected.

Intellectual property

The site, its text, design and software belong to us or our licensors. You may link to pages and quote short excerpts with attribution. Code snippets are provided for you to use in your own projects. Content you submit (corrections, messages) may be used by us to improve the site.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data or lost profits arising from use of the site, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Availability and changes

We aim for a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change or remove features and update these terms; continued use after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at our place of business have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights you have.
